Abstract

A mockup representing a historic masonry vault was tested on the shaking table and finally brought to collapse. During the seismic test, a video was taken and then processed by the motion magnification algorithm to magnify the smallest displacements. Subsequently, each frame of the video was translated into a graph to be analyzed by the graph’s centrality measures. Some of these parameter values significantly changed along the video before the collapse. Therefore, such parameters showed the potential to predict the collapse of the structure. © 2023 IMEKO TC TC4. All rights reserved.
